Why would you try to trade a 2012 Avenger for a clapped out 1989 Nissan? I mean I know Avengers are terrible, but seriously.

Yeah, I'd do a title search on that first. Or see if it's even his car. Probably the car his parents got for him and he wants to trade it away. Mom and Dad won't like that.

Because they’re a kid. Some kid tried to trade me a late model fart canned Hyundai on my old shitty 760 Turbo back in the day. Parents had bought it for him and it wasn't cool. He was firmly convinced the Volvo would be a sufficient DD for him when the thing hadn’t gone more than 500 miles in a row in ages without some random disabling failure. Had to deny him for his own good even though the Hyundai was a >7k car and the Volvo was worth lint and paper clips.
